  • I would rather live in a world where my life is surrounded by mystery than live in a world so small that my mind could comprehend it.

About Us

Rose Madrone is passionately committed to living with sustainability and stewardship as a primary focus, as well as being aware that our daily choices actively create the world in which we live. She has worked with, and taught of, the natural world for over 25 years. Through botany, herbal medicine and permaculture, where the ripple effect of her teachings help facilitate the understanding that we are all indeed an essential link in this amazing web we call Life.

Thus, the Connectivity Project was born, with the intention of cultivating the right questions in order to understand these ever-present interconnections. Finding where incredible people and works already embody this and sharing this with all of you is a core goal, as well as helping to facilitate this awareness of how truly significant each and every one of us and our actions are.

"Through my travels, I have experienced that often when we feel pain, conflict, and sadness, that this comes from a disconnect with the world around us. I find myself wondering what our world would look like if we acted as if what we do matters, truly understanding about the interconnected nature of life, and our role in it. Can we create the kind of world we want to live in? I think so." - Rose

Robert Consentino has over 20 years experience in motion picture/television production. He finds the challenges of visual storytelling the most inspiring and rewarding endeavors in the world. He is fascinated with the endless creative opportunities of the cinematographer.

Working within the constraints of time and resources, and using experience, experiment and instinct to craft the images, his goal is to add visual and psychological depth to the story and illuminate the interior life of the characters in this upcoming film.

"The deeper I look inside myself, the more aware I become of my surroundings, I realize just how connected my well-being is to everyone else in the world and to all living things. This brings me closer to the people I know and encourages understanding and compassion towards the ones I don't."- Robert

Lindsey Grayzel educates audiences by engaging them with stories that resonate and visuals that captivate. Working in film since 1994, her passion for documentary stories has led her to a successful career creating documentary, educational and promotional videos. She is dedicated to thorough pre-production research, and this, coupled with her intimate interviewing style and keen eye for visuals ensures that a day of work in the field results in beautiful and compelling footage. Lindsey is a great addition to the Connectivity Project

Hailing from Elmira, Oregon, Nate York has been creating web sites and web solutions for over 7 years. He is passionate about playing music, his dogs, family, nature, and has a special spot in his heart for mushrooms and mycology in the Pacific Northwest.

His involvement with the Connectivity Project was a serendipitous experience as he first met Rose by accident leaving a breakfast restaurant in Portland, and then they were brought together coincidentally through a mutual friend. The universe at work again!

"It is so important for us to share our stories of being 'one', if for nothing more than to let others know that they are not alone in these experiences. I like to think that at some point, or on some level, we all have had these feelings of connectedness. We need to recognize these moments and share them, so that other people can learn to recognize this feeling themselves." - Nate
